Product description
Perhaps the grittiest shooting support on the market. The BOG Pod Deathgrip is made of aluminum and the whole support breathes robustness and quality with rough legs and controls big enough to handle with gloves. The shooting support is reminiscent of a real camera tripod, with a unique grip that you use a large knob to "pinch" around the piston. If you put it on the center of the weapon, you can even let go of the weapon and let it rest in the support. The BOG Pod Deathgrip is as close to a bench rest as you can get - and even if you normally want support at the back of the butt, I would say that it is not necessary in this case.

The legs can be raised high up to provide good support, even if you are almost two meters above sea level like me, but you can also fold out the legs at a 45 or 85 degree angle and thus enable you to sit or lie down and shoot.
The stability and robustness comes with a price, namely the weight. About 3.8 kilos extra you have to carry and even when folded, it takes up quite a lot of space. If you want to go far, it may be better to choose a slightly lighter option.
