A sturdy splitting axe designed for heavier tasks, such as splitting larger logs and firewood. The design of the head together with the slightly convex grind means that the head breaks up the wood. Long, straight American hickory handle for maximum speed and control when splitting wood. The axe is hand-forged and made of Swedish axe steel in Hults Bruk according to tradition since 1697. The axe is named after Hult, the area where Hults Bruk was founded. As with many Swedish geographical names, it describes the surrounding landscape of the place.
