We recommend, as with all barrel cleaning, the use of a solvent port bore guide (te.x. Tipton Universal bore guide), it will be much easier to get the cleaner into the barrel without the risk of it running into the pressure. A patch trap that collects the pull tabs also makes the job easier.
Wet a pull tab with ThorroFlush and push it through the barrel, a patch to fit the barrel is recommended.Shake the ThorroClean bottle well and wet a nylon or bronze brush and pull it through the barrel back and forth about 15 times. Check that you have enough ThorroClean on the brush (Just enough so that it does not run off the brush, feel free to add a little after half of the strokes)Push a dry swab through the barrel and follow up with a swab with ThorroFlush, repeat this step three times.Finish with a dry cloth followed by a lightly oiled cloth.
The product is completely odorless and it is therefore perfectly possible to clean the weapon indoors!
