Product description

Durability and smooth operation are the most important features of the new Savage Gear Fazor spinning reel. Don't be fooled by the discreet design – this workhorse will surprise you!

The patented precision cut stainless steel gear, combined with a carbon reinforced composite (CRC) housing and rotor, makes this reel extremely lightweight yet very robust.

The 7+1 stainless steel ball bearing system and the one-piece SST handle eliminate any play in the reel. The unique carbon brake disc system creates a particularly smooth and durable brake that can be precisely adjusted – crucial when battling trophy fish.

The Savage Gear FAZOR is available in sizes 1000–C5000, with several high-speed gear ratios, suitable for a variety of freshwater and coastal fish species.

Features:

  • CRC housing and rotor (Carbon Reinforced Composite)

  • 7+1 stainless steel ball bearings

  • Precision Cut Gear – precisely machined gearing for exceptionally smooth operation

  • Tapered Spool Lip Design for maximum casting distance and less tangles

  • Duragrease and Duraoil for smooth brake and gearing

  • Friction Control System – carbon brake discs with hydro sealed HS-drag

  • One-piece SST handle – extra strong CNC machined construction

  • Rubberized paddle knob in sizes 1000–2000

  • Rubberized T-knob in sizes 2500–4000

  • Metal/rubber power knob on the C5000 model
