We recommend using nylon brushes with this Sweet Solvent 7.62, a bronze brush will dissolve if used with Sweet's Solvent. If a bronze brush is used, rinse the brush in warm water after use to prevent it from dissolving.
Sweet's 7.62 Solvent should not be left in the barrel for more than 15-20 minutes at a time. It contains ammonia which attracts moisture from the surrounding air. Therefore, copper solvent should not be left in the barrel for a long time.
Oil the barrel and barrel after dry firing. A tip is to use action blaster after using Sweet solvent to neutralize the residues that may remain, before oiling the barrel.
